Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren's design office Front did background research on people's relationship with figurative decorative objects. The research was done by asking randomly selected people what are the most important objects in their lives. Most of the respondents named animal figures who seemed to have a personality, certain characteristics or shared history. Based on the research, the sweet Resting Animals product series was born, which depicts resting and sleeping animals.
