Vitra Eames Elephant is an elephant designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1945. However, this particular piece was never put into production. One prototype was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1946 and remains in the Eames family archives today. After the release of the first limited edition in 2007, Vitra began serial production of the Eames Elephant in plywood in 2018.
The Eames plastic Elephant is available in two different sizes and both come in several different colors.
The Eames Elephant is also available in two different colors in plywood, cherry wood or in a specially numbered and named series also stained gray.
