The Vitra Eames coffee table is the handiwork of Charles and Ray Eames, which they designed for their country residence, the legendary Eames House in Pacific Palisades, in 1949. Since then, the table has influenced many people's unique interiors. The rectangular table top, which gives the impression of simplicity and luxury at the same time, is originally coated with gold leaf. In the following years, Charles and Ray Eames produced two more such tables with different tops, one in marble and one in wood.
