The Verpan Reflect table lamp is known for its simple but impressive design. The light source of the Reflect table lamp, designed by Verner Panton in 1980, is located at its foot. The disc-shaped upper part of the lamp reflects the light coming from the tubular lower part onto the object.
Reflect offers a simpler and more linear style than what we are used to from Panton. It is an excellent example of his ingenuity and deep understanding of how light can be manipulated to create a desired environment or mood. In the Reflect lamp, the light reflects upwards from the tubular base and refracts from the surface of the white, diagonally placed plate, creating a sharp but at the same time soft lighting around it.
