Swedese is a Swedish furniture manufacturing company. The company was founded in 1945 by the brothers Yngve and Jerker Ekström and Bertil Sjödvist. Swedes' goal is to create furniture of the future that is built on Scandinavian traditions. The Lamino armchair, designed by Yngve Ekström in 1956, is probably still the most famous of the Swedes collection.
