Louis Poulsen's PH Septima consists of seven shades forming a glass chandelier that produces glare-free and delicate light. The dimmed and bright sections of the shades alternate, making the light even softer. Considered one of Poul Henningsen's finest pendant lamps, PH Septima was first presented as a prototype in 1928. The lamp was already popular with the public at that time.
All seven shades of the lamp are made of durable Italian borosilicate glass. Shades made of clear glass are treated in such a way that they have alternating bright and dim sections. The neat round glass cup at the top prevents dust from entering the lamp. The prestigious PH Septima went out of production in the 1940s due to a shortage of raw materials, and finally in 2020 Louis Poulsen brought it back into production.
