The Louis Poulsen AJ Oxford table lamp is a timeless creation by Arne Jacobsen, which was designed as early as 1962. At that time, the lamp was designed for St Catherine's College, Oxford University, from which the name of the table lamp originates. To this day, AJ Oxford table lamps have illuminated the school's large dining hall, delighting teachers and students. In addition to the name, the simple look and clear lines of the AJ Oxford table lamp adapt to the modern style of the university building.
Louis Poulsen's AJ Oxford illuminates a downward, pleasant light. Three-layer mouth-blown opal glass guarantees softness, which means that the lamp does not dazzle when viewed from any direction. The AJ Oxford table lamp is available in a total of four versions - two different heights and two different shade types, one of which is completely opal glass and the other has a black aluminum top. In the completely opal glass version, the glow is greater and a beautiful
halo forms around the lamp.
