The Innolux Perhonen floor Lamp invites you to enjoy the play of light and color, creating a space where the mind can wander and dream. Its colorful elements cut from plexiglass bring playfulness to the whole and offer the user a wide color palette that emphasizes the translucent effect of light. The handprint of the well-known designer, Yrjö Kukkapuro, can be seen in the design language of the lamp, where the minimalist black structure of the metal frame creates a contrast, and the visible screws give it a personal, finished look.
Originally, this lamp was born out of the need for an experimental studio house in Kukkapuro in 1968, when the ceiling plugs were accidentally missing. The final shape was inspired by the postmodern design wave of the 1980s, when bold colors and shapes found their way into the design. Now Innolux brings Perhonen into production for the first time, restoring its original, timeless charm.
