HAY About A Chair AAC22 is a versatile chair with a clean line design, which is suitable as a dining chair, restaurant or office chair. The large seat cup is made of recycled plastic and offers a pleasant sitting experience for a longer period of time. The HAY About A series was designed by the Danish Hee Welling, who founded his own studio in Copenhagen in 2003. Welling has received numerous different Design awards, such as Bo Bedre Award (Germany), Good Design Award (USA). In addition, he has been named Danish designer of the year in 2013 and 2014. Welling's work is united by a fine understanding of proportions and quiet elegance. For HAY, Welling has designed, for example, the About A series and Hee lounge, bar and dining chairs.

NOTE The material of the seat parts of the About A product family was updated to recycled plastic in 2023. The names of the shades remain unchanged, but due to the material change, you may notice small differences in the shade from the previous ones.
