The Carl Hansen & Søn CH24 Wishbone children's chair is a special version developed in honor of Hans J. Wegner's 110th birthday. Compared to its larger version, the children's chair has the same, equally perfect and beautiful design, but only in a smaller size. The Wishbone chair, also aimed at children, has more than 100 work steps, most of which are done by hand. The seat part uses about 75 meters of paper string and it is 33% thinner than in the normal version of the chair.

Wegner designed the iconic Wishbone chair in 1949 and the chair has since claimed its place in homes and public spaces around the world. When designing the CH24 chair, Wegner decided to combine the back and armrest into one whole. The whole is supported by the chair's characteristic Y-shaped back, after which the chair is named.
