Artek 41 Paimio is a revolutionary chair whose seat part, which is attached to the frame in only four places, offers a flexible sitting experience. The look of the sculptural Artek 41 chair is dominated by the rounded corners of the armrests and the striking curves of the seat. Alvar Aalto designed the Paimio chair in 1928 for the Paimio tuberculosis sanatorium. The chair is considered one of Aalto's masterpieces. Available painted white or black.
