Aino Aalto (1894-1949) was a Finnish architect, designer and one of the founders of Artek. Aino Aalto, maiden name Marsio, graduated as an architect in 1920 and began her career in Helsinki working for the architect Oiva Kallio.

In 1924, he moved to work in Alvar Aalto's office. The couple, who got married half a year later, worked a lot together. Aalto's joint projects include the Villa Mairea in Noormarku, the Paimio sanatorium and the restaurant Savoy in Helsinki.
