The Design House Stockholm Tondo mortar and pestle offers a sculptural alternative to the traditional spice crusher. The beautifully designed mortar has a groove suitable for a rounded ring-shaped pestle and crushed spices. In the hands of Jessika Källeskog, the traditional kitchen utensil took shape in a shape that reflects a more peaceful working movement. The Tondo mortar and pestle are made of white-grey marble.

Anders Färdig founded Design House Stockholm in 1992, so-called as a design publishing house. The company brought out its first own products in 1997. The Block hit lamp was designed by Harri Koskinen, when he was still an unknown student. The lamp gained worldwide popularity and is currently one of the most famous lamps in the Design House Stockholm collection. Over the years, more than a hundred designers have increased the selection of Design House Stockholm with their unique products.
