Founded in Copenhagen in 2010, &Tradition is a relatively new design brand. Despite its young age, &Tradition has achieved an international reputation and managed to become one of the world's most popular furniture brands. The brand, which idealizes Danish craftsmanship and continues the design heritage, has included products from the most famous designers, from Verner Panton to Flemming Lassen and Arne Jacobsen. The younger, today's most interesting group of designers are represented by Hee Welling, Sami Kallio and Anderssen&Voll.
&Tradition's selection exudes traditions and stories that the brand tells with its original touch. The wide product selection includes iconic classic furniture as well as new, interesting small interior design products and textiles. &Tradition always strives to create "tomorrow's classics" - with a conscientious approach that respects people and the planet.
&Tradition skillfully takes over the interior design styles of different decades from the last hundred years. The Bellevue family of lamps was created by Arne Jacobsen in the late 1920s. The 95-year-old lamps have proven their timelessness and still serve today's home interiors around the world.

Little Petra lounge chair was designed already in 1938. The lounge chair created by the architect Viggo Boesen is a piece of furniture that has a strong adventure from decade to decade and which many passionate decorators dream about for a long time.
Perhaps the most popular lighting family produced by &Tradition was created by Verner Panton. It is, of course, the Flowerpot product family, which currently includes not only hanging lamps but also various table, wall and floor lamps. The iconic shape of Panton's Flowerpot pendant light was born in the 1960s, and since then the well-known lighting family has expanded in close cooperation with the Panton family.
&Tradition has succeeded in its mission to return old, already discontinued products back to manufacturing and available to people. According to the Danish philosophy, products are made based on original sketches, and I mean craftsmanship. Those who respect design traditions often turn to &Tradition products when the purpose is to find long-lasting and timeless furniture or lighting.
&Tradition's talented group of designers also has Finnish roots. Sami Kallio, who was born in Finland but grew up in Sweden, started his career in the furniture brand, first traditionally with woodworking. Learning about woodworking gave Kallio an important perspective, which he can now use in his work as a designer. The award-winning designer is currently working in his studio in Gothenburg, designing furniture. In his design, Kallio strives to take into account classic shapes with a modern "tats", so that the end result resonates with a modern-minded target group.
&Tradition's selection includes the Scandinavian-inspired In Between product family designed by Sami Kallio. The versatile furniture family includes dining tables of different sizes and made of different materials, dining and bar chairs, and wooden coffee tables. The basic principles of &Tradition are strongly present in In Between furniture, such as timeless design and, on the other hand, also the revolution of traditions. Skillfully crafted pieces of furniture always go together, but their finesse is also in the fact that they are easy to combine with many different styles.
