Louis Poulsen's PH Artichoke is the nobility of pendant lamps. The classic designed by Poul Henningsen consists of 72 leaves arranged in twelve rows of six leaves. Artichoke illuminates any space with 100% glare-free light. The light of the lamp is directed both inside and outside, which makes the light beautiful and pleasant.
Poul Henningsen designed the iconic PH Artichoke for the Langelinie Pavillone restaurant in Copenhagen in 1958. At that time, he chose copper leaves with a pink tint on the inner surfaces. This combination gave the natural form exceptional warmth and the light reflected beautifully from the PH Artichoke's hidden light source.
