HAY Petit Standard is a testament to designer Daniel Rybakken's precision and thoughtful details. The goal was a stackable chair, where stackability as a feature, however, would not weaken the ergonomics of the chair. The idea gave birth to an elegant and functional chair, which with its three-dimensional design will delight in the dining area or at the workplace. Thanks to the light frame, the general appearance of the chair is graceful and airy, but as a counterbalance, the wooden seat and backrest give it a strong character. HAY – sustainable and creative solutions

HAY was founded in 2002 and already in the same year it had a furniture collection.
