Behind the HAY About A Stool AAS32 bar stool is the desire to create a reduced chair that is easy to place in different environments. The end result was the clean-lined About A Stool bar stool. Thanks to its strong, but neutral appearance, it is suitable for homes, offices and cafes. The seat part of the AAS32 bar stool is made of recycled plastic and the base is strong oak. Together, these materials form a fresh whole.

Hee Welling, who designed the AAS32 bar stool, has won several awards for his work, such as the Bo Bedre Award, the Good Design Award and he has been named Danish Designer of the Year in 2013 and 2014. Welling's work can be described as a union of perfect proportions and quiet elegance.
