The playful and gentle design language of the Design House Stockholm Uno ottoman resembles a mushroom. The rahi was originally designed for a hotel, where they wanted to bring something new and unconventional to the interior. In addition to various public spaces, the Uno rahi also works great as an additional seat at home. You can also use it under your feet when sitting on your favorite armchair or use it as a backrest when sitting on the floor.
Uno rahi brings liveliness and character to the interior. The round structure makes the bed cosy, which the beautiful texture and softness of the fabric emphasizes even more. The carefully shaped wooden structure is surrounded by elastic padding, which makes Uno not only sturdy, but also really soft. An easily movable ottoman is a natural part of the home, where the need for seating varies depending on the situation.
Designed without prejudice, the Design House Stockholm Uno rahi is the handiwork of architecture and design studio Claesson Koivisto Rune. The Uno sofa also shows the designers' love for Scandinavian minimalism combined with Japanese design. In Japan, ottomans and various stools are the most common seats, from restaurants to bars and hotels. Sitting on them requires a slightly more focused sitting position and more active body language, which promotes a lively conversation. One of the designers belonging to the designer trio is Finnish Eero Koivisto.
