Design House Stockholm's Arco desk combines a glass cover created by Chuck Mack with a sturdy trestle structure familiar from construction sites and garages and a convenient drawer under the cover. The trestle legs give the table a personal look and ensure its stability and ability to withstand large loads.

The Arco series began when Mack was working as a house builder, when he built light and easy-to-stack trestle legs for his desks. Customers fell in love with the practicality of these legs and started using them in home furnishings as well. Inspired by the positive feedback, Mack designed the Arco series, which is made of durable oak and includes different sized dining tables, elegant side tables and desks.

Anders Färdig founded Design House Stockholm in 1992, so-called as a design publishing house. The company brought out its first own products in 1997. The Block hit lamp was designed by Harri Koskinen, when he was still an unknown student. The lamp gained worldwide popularity and is currently one of the most famous lamps in the Design House Stockholm collection. Over the years, more than a hundred designers have increased the selection of Design House Stockholm with their unique products.
