Artek A330S Savoy is a sculpturally beautiful lamp that arouses admiration whether the light is on or not. The hole-patterned lower edge of the beautiful pendant lamp spreads a beautiful crown-like pattern around it and prevents glare. Aino and Alvar Aalto designed the lamp in 1936 as part of the interior of Restaurant Savoy in Helsinki, where the original lamps are still in place today.
The lamp was presented at the Finnish stand at the Paris World Exhibition in 1937. The smooth-lined A330S lamp is also known as "Golden Bell". The Artek A330S Savoy lamp is untreated brass, which patinas beautifully as it ages.
