Warm Nordic Ambience is a table lamp designed by Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen in 1953. The geometric lamp brings to mind origami with its shapes that resemble paper folds. Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen was a Danish lighting designer and metalsmith with a perfect balance of experimentation and understanding of materials. He created innovative, high-quality lamps that looked international and exuded a Nordic aesthetic at the same time. Svend designed everything from envelopes to tram tickets. Some of the plans remained at the level of drawings and ideas, but he brought some to life in the form of lamps. Thanks to his imagination, skills and visions, Svend's work is a significant part of Danish lighting design.
