Vitran Stools were designed by Charles & Ray Eames. In 1960, Time Inc. commissioned the Eames Office to furnish the interiors of three lobbies in New York's Rockefeller Center. As part of this project, Charles and Ray Eames designed plush lobby chairs and a series of solid walnut stools. These turned stools, which can also be used as occasional tables, are distinguished by the characteristic profiles of their arms. The Stools product series includes three different models A, B and C.
