The lamps, made by hand in Finland, are PEFC-certified pressed birch. The lamp was designed by architect Seppo Koho.

Secto Design – lamps made of natural materials

Secto Design's upward story began in 1995, when Tuula Jusélius found a new designer in the company's ranks, Seppo Koho. Parivaljakko shared his enthusiasm for Nordic wood, clear design and professional woodworking. Choosing these values, they finally created a completely new series of lamps. At that time, there were no naturally spiritual lamps on the market that used wood as their material. For this need, Seppo Koho created the Secto pendant light, which is the backbone of the company even today.

The challenge for production was great, but it was even more difficult to bring a completely new concept to general popularity.
